Smart J Lab is a day camp for Jewish children aged 6–13, where they play, unwind, make friends, and at the same time develop valuable skills that will stay with them long into the future.

Each Smart J Lab program is a unique story with its own plot, characters, challenges, and finale.
From day one, your child becomes part of this story: searching for answers, overcoming challenges, experimenting, creating their own projects, making decisions, and working with the team toward a common goal.

Our Programs
Smart J Lab: The Secret Lab
Theme: Miracles on the Eve of Shabbat
Participants enter the secret Smart J Lab, where they explore various miracles created by G-d at twilight before the onset of Shabbat, learn about their history, and discover more about the commandments. Every day brings a new experiment, investigation, and an unexpected discovery, which the children record in their research journals.
The program culminates in a science conference, where each group of children will present their project, demonstrate what they’ve learned and discovered during the camp, and receive awards of the season in various categories.
Smart J Lab: The Repository of Wonders
Theme: Wonders in the Desert
Participants find themselves in the secret Smart J Lab, which houses the “Repository of Wonders”—a room capable of recreating various climatic, geographical, and historical conditions. But the repository breaks down, and participants must sort out all the resulting confusion.
Every day brings a new task and challenge; as they tackle these, children can feel like real scientists in a research team alongside their peers. Participants collect artifacts to prepare their own unique project by the end of camp.
The finale is the Museum of Wonders, where children will present their achievements to their parents and share everything they’ve learned and accomplished during the camp.
Smart J Lab: The Fantastic Expedition
Theme: Amazing Animals of the Tanakh
Participants enter the secret Smart J Lab, where they meet a zoologist and explorer who collects unique animals mentioned in the Tanakh during his expeditions, along with data, artefacts, and specimens to preserve knowledge about them.
Recently, the scientist discovered references to new and extraordinary creatures that we know very little about. To find out more, he needs the help of young researchers. Together with the scientist, children will study the animals, gather information, record what they learn, and prepare for a truly fantastic expedition. T
he programme culminates in a fantastic expedition, where children will present their research and achievements to their parents and share everything they’ve learned and discovered during the camp.
Smart J Lab: The Laboratory of the Elements
Theme: The 4 elements on which the world is built: earth, water, fire, air
Scientists at the secret Smart J Lab invite participants to explore the four elements: earth, water, fire, and air. Everything living and non-living in the world consists of combinations of these elements, and humans embody all four. But one of the experiments spirals out of control and leads to unexpected consequences: participants are drawn into a game reminiscent of “Jumanji.”
They find themselves inside a labyrinth of the elements, full of mysteries, challenges, and unusual effects. To escape and return to the lab, participants must restore the balance of the elements, collect them in the appropriate flasks, complete all the challenges, and use the artifacts and clues they’ve obtained.
The finale features the labyrinth’s final challenge and the restoration of the balance of the four elements.
Smart J Lab: Secrets of the Prophets
Topic: Jewish Prophets
The Tanakh holds many mysteries and secrets. Five of them are kept in the secret Smart J Lab, which plans to open a new department—the Department of Mysteries and Secrets.
Young researchers will face challenges that test their curiosity, logic, and ability to keep secrets; they’ll peek behind five secret doors, collect artifacts and messages from the prophets, and unravel each of their secrets. Before the work begins, each child will place their own personal riddle—something they’ve long wanted to understand or learn—into the “Chest of Questions.” The questions are kept in the lab until the finale.
The finale is the Smart J Lab “Hall of Answers” fair. After gathering all five secrets of the prophets, the children will open the final hall, where they will be recognized as members of the Department of Mysteries and Secrets and can find answers to their own questions with the help of the prophets’ wisdom and their rabbi mentor. In this way, participants learn the most important lesson: by unraveling the mysteries of the prophets, we uncover important secrets within ourselves.
Smart J Lab: Israeli Kaleidoscope
Theme: The Cultural Heritage of the Jewish People
Smart J Lab is launching a new and unique project—the reality show “Israeli Kaleidoscope.” Participants will become the stars of this television season and embark on a fascinating journey through the world of Jewish culture.
Throughout the camp, children will explore the cultural heritage of Jewish communities that have lived in various countries around the world for many years, creating their own traditions and preserving their language, music, literature, crafts, and customs—and then bringing this rich heritage to Israel. Each day will be a new episode of the show and will be dedicated to a different facet of Jewish culture. In the finale, participants will take part in the season’s grand finale, “Israeli Kaleidoscope.”
The team of children with the highest score will receive the grand trophy and be crowned the winner of the reality show.
